Red Sand is a progressive rock band founded in May 2004 on the South Shore of Quebec City, Canada.

From the release of its debut album, Mirror of Insanity, the band quickly gained international recognition. The album earned Red Sand the prestigious "Best New Band" award from the Polish magazine Metal Hammer, launching the group onto the international progressive rock scene.

In the studio, Red Sand consists of Michel Renaud (vocals), Perry Angelillo (drums), and Simon Caron (guitars, bass, and keyboards). For live performances, the lineup expands with a fourth member, André Godbout on bass, delivering powerful and captivating concerts.

Over the years, Red Sand has performed at several prestigious festivals across Europe and the United States, earning a reputation for memorable live performances filled with emotion, energy, and musical excellence.
